During the calendar year 2023, AJAC Social Benefits Program continued to provide assistance to our members whose pension was less than $1500.00 per month. Following is a breakdown of that assistance.

1. Copay for hospitalizations and ambulatory surgery was provided for 273 members at all hospitals. Total cost for this service was $8486.00

2. Payment of eyeglasses for our members in accordance with our contract with Optica Sosa y Arango was provided for 75 members. The total cost for this service was $3633.00.

3. Dental prothesis at Santa Fe Hospital was provided for 12 members. Total cost of for this service was $4485.00.

4. Dental prothesis at private dental clinics was provided for 5 members. Total cost for this service was $1170.00.

The total cost of our Social Benefit Program for CY 2023 was $17,774.00
